Conspire is a new downtown Phoenix co-operative arts space. We are located at 901 N 5th St., SE corner of and Garfield and 5th St. Our doors will be opening October 5, 2007, for the First Friday artwalk! Conspire is an offshoot of C.O.L.A.B., and previous to that The Downstairs Collective. Some of the founding members from C.O.L.A.B. and Downstairs are a part of this new project including Joey G of Mob Action, Lisa Jacobs aka Sticker Club Girl, and Spray Graphic Apparel. In addition to being a collective featuring hand made fashion, we will be including a wide variety of arts, crafts, and hand made goods. In this working studio we will be offering classes and workshops for the community to participate in. Their will be a community library by Mob Action University, and John Sagasta brings us The Coffee Conspiracy featuring hand made coffee and specialty drinks. Founding members include Mob Action, Joey G, Sticker Club Girl, Lisa Jacobs, Dan Dykas, Andy Still, John Sagasta, Dubnosis, James G, Lacie Bug Designs, Lacie Murphy, Becca Dang, Spray Graphic Apparel,Tara Kratzner-Bills aka Kitsch Niche, Nicole Smith, Sheila Bochinne,Tom Budzak, and Zarina Ketola. We will be featuring fashion, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, hand made paper, illustration, knit/crochet goodies,crafty kitch, fine art, designer jewelry and accessories, paintings, books, coffee, baked goods, classes, events, and creative conspiracies.
